It was a genuine pleasure to welcome the Cub Scouts of Pack 84 and their families to the New Jersey School of Conservation on July 9th! NJSOC has a long tradition of seeking to inspire the spirit of natural conservation in youth groups across the state, and with activities like Water Ecology, Spincast Fishing, ASE Teambuilding and Blacksmithing, the Cub Scouts got a chance to enjoy ecological discoveries in our outdoor learning facility. We are one New Jersey’s “best kept secrets” for youth groups and school events. Many of our guests are surprised to learn what we can offer and often come to appreciate the vital importance of teaching children in a safe and natural outdoor classroom. We hope to see our local Scout Troops & future leaders back on campus again soon!
