2022 Spring Fling Archery Program (Adults, 14+) PM SESSION

April 30, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Explore Archery! This class will include basic archery skills, fun drills, and archery games.

Due to high demand, we have added these afternoon 4 part sessions.

You pull back the bowstring. You stare downrange at the bullseye. Release! The arrow flies away and plunges into the target. Bullseye!

Join the fun! Participants will be taught by USA Archery certified instructors. We will have you flinging arrows in no time. Be advised, archery is great fun and habit-forming! No experience necessary!

This workshop series is open to adults (ages 14+) and all participants must register in advance.

There will be a total of four sessions consisting of 90 minutes classes on four consecutive Saturdays.

The sessions will be:

  • Saturday, April 30th @1:00pm-2:30pm
  • Saturday, May 7th @1:00pm-2:30pm
  • Saturday, May 14th @1:00pm-2:30pm
  • Saturday, May 21st @1:00pm-2:30pm

Each Saturday class will consist of one hour of instruction and thirty minutes of supervised open shooting practice time. Participants who complete the program will be able to easily transition into any archery program. Participants who complete all four weeks in a session will receive a Certificate of Completion. In addition, students will receive a progress card. This will be theirs to keep at the conclusion of their mini program.

Ruth and John Goralski are Level 3 Coaches (Instructor/Trainers) with USA Archery. They are also past PA state champions.

If you have any difficulty with the registration process, please let us know so we can help! Contact us at info@njsoc.org.

The Friends of the New Jersey School of Conservation is a U.S. tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. When NJSOC closed in July 2020, the Friends launched a campaign to save it. This ultimately led to negotiations with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, owners of NJSOC, to obtain an interim management agreement for the School. This agreement was finalized in April 2021, and the Friends of NJSOC are proud to offer limited programming at NJSOC with the help of dedicated and talented volunteers. We are pleased to register you for one of our programs!
